Present simple ( I do )

 

We use the present simple to talk about things in general.

 

- I usually go away at wekkends.

- The earth goes round the sun.

 

We se do/dose to make questions and negative sentences.

 

- What does this word mean?

 

We used the present simple to say how often we do things.

 

- Juile doesn't drink tea very often.

-Robert usually goes away two or three times a year.

 

The words [ I apologise / advise / insist/ agree/ refuse] use the present simple.

 

- I promise that I won't be late.

- What do you suggest I do?

Present continuous VS present simple 1.

 

 

Present continuous	present simple
= Thing isn't complete	Things in general.
= Things in continous or around the time of speacking
To say the things are in temporary situations.	permanent situation.

 

 

[I always do vs I am always doing]

 

present simple = generally I do that a lot.

Present continuous = I do things very often not always. ( more like nagative)

 

※Know, Like are not normally used in continuous forms.

(contains "like love hate wat need prefer know realise suppose mean understand believe remember belong fit contain consist seem etc)

 

 

[Some verbs are different when it comes to using continuous and simple]

 

simple "think"  = Believe or opinion

continuous "thinking" =consider

 

I think that this rode will be a short--cut.

vs

I am thinking about what happening.

 

 

simple selfish = generally selfish

continous being selfish = behaving selfish at the moment ( not always)

permanent (영원히)

 

= Ive got permanentlly banned from stadium because of shouting towards athletes.

 

archeology 고고학

 

= I majored archeology to analize residual fossils in our town which is kwoun as a sources of dinosaurs.

= you could have been gotten courage for shotting the gun. It didn't hurt you.

 

facility 시설

 

In order to get the lisence, you have to build the adequate facility to prove your production.
